Yes McGranaghan, McGranahan, McGrenaghan and many more similar surnames owe their heritage to the above mentioned clan originating as best known in County Donegal, Ireland. This page provides a place for people interested in learning about or helping the maintain McGranaghan, my surname, McGranahan etc. family history can read and contribute. The McGranaghan Building, Hancock NY This picture is a drawing of the old McGranaghan Building in Hancock NY compliments of the Hancock Chamber of Commerce. The Hancock (Delaware and Green County) area is where my ancestors from County Donegal, Ireland Settled around the end of the famine.
